No.
Was it the world seeing the squabbling on the debt ceiling and how childish the politicians were behaving? (particularly in giving in to the Tea Party's demands which are obviously damaging, over the will of the majority)

It is a good trouble-shooting technique to look first at what has changed. Who was it that ran on "change?" Who was it that promised a fundamental transformation? Who blew up the deficit along with the debt to record levels? Come on, you know who made this changes, the same One who hasn't produced a budget. Oh my that's a big change too.
