The site was started during a Republican administration. Now a few news letters have suggested praying for specifics from a candidate. While it hasn't yet
asked its members to vote for anyone specifically, the tone is decidedly-
Dems no vs. Reps yes-yes!
I wonder if the original theme of the site will endure an Obama win.
I hope so.
That has led me to ask the question: Will you be supportive of the next President of the United States if your candidate does not win?
And what are the degrees of that support if any? Can you as an American citizen, unite yourself with the opposition after the election is over?

I will RESPECT the President, whomever he may be. This does not translate into support as it would be irresponsible of me to support someone I don't agree with. I will do everything I can to reach reasonable accords with the Republicans, but there are some issues I'm willing to compromise less than others.

And the other thing that the public really does like is the self-examination to say, you know, I'm not perfect. I'm just like you. They don't ask their public officials to be perfect. They just ask them to be smart, truthful, honest, and show a modicum of good sense." Ann Richards, Former Texas Governor
