Gen. Wesley Clark, acting as a surrogate for Barack Obama’s campaign, invoked John McCain’s military service against him in one of the more personal attacks on the Republican presidential nominee this election cycle. Clark said that McCain lacked the executive experience necessary to be president, calling him “untested and untried” on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” And in saying so, he took a few swipes at McCain’s military service.
Obviously Clark lacks the political experience to not stick his foot in his mouth, because his candidate has the same amount of 'executive experience' as McCain. Obviously, the follow up question to Clark should have been, 'If John McCain isn't qualified because of his lack of executive experience, how could Barack Obama be qualified?'

This notion that McCains military experience gives him the innate ability to make better choices then Obama is not proven through history.
I agree, and I certainly wouldn't vote for McCain for his military service alone.

I do question Obama's wisdom in his choice of surrogates. Why the hell would you send someone out on television who believes you're not qualified to be President?

How can you be willing to vote for a man who chooses people to represent him that don't really believe he's qualified???
