IMO, it has a lot to with a lack of respect for rule of law. When relative morality becomes the order of the day, rule of law is thrown out. Liberals tend to be strongly attracted to relative morality and so are criminals. They both use it to explain away illegal/unethical/immoral acts. Conservative tend more towards a rule of law mindset. They approach things from a legalistic, black and white mindset that criminals tend to avoid.
What a load of crap. Relative morality? The right lives on it. Whether its rendition or torture. Or the need to gather peoples private info without warrant. The entire justification for the Iraq war.
I just watched a report about the land deals congressman have been carving out for themselves. From Denny Hastard on down to my local Ken Calvert. So don't bring Resko in to this. You guys have many more land grab issues in your own party.
