The docs that Iraq sent were pure fabrication. That's why they were never seriously considered as proof. We had spent 12 years getting the run-around from the Baathists and this was nothing more than more of the same. It was a stalling tactic, trying to garner public sympathy from well-meaning "folks" like yourself. Had we waited, how many more Iraqi women would have been
gang-raped becuase thier husbands stood up against the Baathists? How many more mass graves would have been found? How many more Iraqis would have been "processed" through the Iraqi death factories like Abu Ghraib?
