When I read things like this from the article,
Tom Ammiano, a San Francisco Democrat, and Speaker John Perez of Los Angeles, who are both openly gay, said adding contributions from gays, lesbians and the transgendered to textbooks and history classes would help combat bullying.
I can't help but wonder if Mr Ammiano would want historical events that negatively portray a homosexual to be stricken from history books, because that might have the opposite effect.
I just see it as a ridiculous thought process on the part of Mr Ammiano.
