I think that he may have a point. If at least all Russians were descended from a common group of people living in an arctic wasteland, that would explain the hihg level of alcholism in Russia. By keeping themselves drunk they basically added anti-freeze to thier system. The best drinkers were teh ones who survived and now we have an entire nation that knows how to drink and drink well. It all fits together very nicely if you think about it....
