Maybe utter nonsense, but it doesn't tarnish Obama. Hillary's PLO friends don't seem to have tarnished her in any way. As you say both sides have their friendships and alliances. I seem to remember the Kennedy's were supporters of a revolutionary group in Ireland.

I don't think all the people who have come out in support of Obama are stupid or have a secret agenda. I think they like his views.
When this war started and that American guy was being sought as a traitor, I thought to myself, "I have to pick a side right now." I chose the American side. I don't hate Mideastern people or think they are all terrorists, so I have a fine line to walk, but some evidently don't see it the same way I do.
But just maybe his friendships and associations will give Obama a position to help some situations.
The rogue terrorist is what I worry about. And the rogue financier of terrorism.
I wish whoever gets in the White House would keep Condoleezza Rice. Or at least give their ear to her. These times require all our top and smart people to be contributers.
