They have many times but the media chooses to emphasize different things. You can talk all you want but if no one is allowed to actually hear what you say instead of what someone says that you said your "message" won't get out. Check any of the speeches leading up to the war and you will find that much more was said than "nuclear weapons" the humanitarian reasons were heavily emphasized. Remember the "food for oil" "embargo" that was such a failure because of the UN?
