Re: Hating America
Governments and dictators, queens or emperors may try to instill hatred of America. But I think most people of the world as individuals unto themselves, love America.
We are and ever shall be a part of them and their own history, but more personally, our freedom is their hope and our melted pot of beliefs and customs is their ideal.
Especially, I know, the Chinese people admire and adore us. And it feels good knowing that. I mean, everyone likes to be loved.
Economic trends and technologies, war lords and revolutions come and go.
But when America goes, so goes the light of the world.
And it will be a long dark night till anything matches us, if indeed anything ever will.
