Correlation does not equal causation. Even if it did that's a different thread, don't you think? I simply wanted to say that loving one's child regardless of their sexual orientation isn't so rare, in fact it's commonplace and it SHOULD be considered the accepted norm even if there is a large minority that may feel otherwise. THEY're on the decline, and for that I'm grateful.
If the debate is going to be about how many homosexual teens are suicidal, then this should go in a different thread. I think THAT issue (parental acceptance, or more specifically to this thread, parental endorsement/abandonement) is only just a portion of the issue in regard to teen homosexual suicides.
