I agree with you and share your sentiments.
I think rather than climate change, it's a perfect storm of several other elements:
- More people, thus more deaths from storms.
- The 'information age' delivering images of everything to our eyes instantly.
- The 'information age' where there's so much competition for ratings three or four cable 'news' networks are sensationalizing everything more.
- Global Warming wasn't able to generate more and more intense hurricanes the last several years, so it decided to downsize to tornadoes.
Either way, I'm sure Al Gore will right a new best seller about it soon.
