She was an escort... it is the author of the article that classifies that as a prostitute (though I do not doubt she likely slept with her clients). If they wanted to get her on the booze and the drugs, she could easily point at any frat house on campus, where they likely drink til they drop. On the lying, she could easily say that she was never brought up on charges of filing a fake report. The judge put the blame squarely on the DA's shoulders, and the university just followed suit.
I am not defending this woman, I actually thought there was something very fishy about this story as soon as it broke, it did not seem to mesh for me. I am just appalled at the aggressiveness of the commentary.
