Maybe on this one point. But I think Obama (and I am not defending him as I have taken no side as of yet) disagrees on the Wealth and the Military Industrial Complex running the country. And McCain is for them in one way or the other. I guess just being a Republican does that to one. But I don't know as here in KS. I am Non Affiliated and therefore cannot vote for any Republican.
I have always voted on the record of the people running not the party. Now I can only vote for the Dem's or an Independent, because of Republican party Rules.
Like I say the parties are to strong and get involved in to much with the power they have.
The Dem's will do away with the super delegates right after they serve the party. Yet they came form now where as I can't find one person to explain how or why they arose. But power of the party decided they needed a new tool to make sure they get what they want. Just like the FL and Michigan voters don't count. And they are party and knew the outcome. So I see power being used to maintain a goal.
