Does that answer your question?
That's crap...

A public citizen has NO RIGHT to remove that display whether he believed it was vandalism or not...

It's not his responsibility and he has no authority...

AND you followed your answer with a "But"...Which validates his actions by blaming others which, in your mind, CAUSED him to become a vandal himself...

Look at the video again...Watch him go in between rows and, with both hands, pull the crosses out and leave them lying scattered...

Is that your definition of "removing vandalism"?...

Saying what he SHOULD'VE done does not have anything to do with your assumptions (your words)...

I think that he was right that the "Pointers for Life" should have identified that they were sponsoring the display. Otherwise how is one to know that the display itself is not vandalism?
Quote:
All of which does not change the fact that any student or university employee who was not affiliated with either the sponsor or with the issuance of permits had no way of knowing that it was not an act of vandalism.

And it is not out of line to assume that it is vandalism until there is evidence presented to show that it isn't.
No...

No, no, no, and a thousand more times, no...

THREE times you've actually came out and said what I've called against...

Saying something is vandalism until proven it's not is right up there with "guilty until proven innocent"...
