Yes, and the difference is that taxes in America are meant to pay for American criminals. Programs to get people into rehab and drug management groups are meant for American drug users. There is no comparison here; these are two completely separate issues that are mutually exclusive. Until you consider the fact that most of our drugs cross the unsecured borders with illegals. So still, the trail leads back to the fact that we secure the border and enforce the immigration laws to solve other problems in our country.
This isn't about race. It is about an invasion that puts a strain on our economy, law enforcement, and social programs. It is convenient to make this about race because no one wants to even touch that subject, so the issue gets left for another day. However, I feel the same way about this that I do about racial profiling on airlines: it wasn't a little blue haired old lady that hijacked a plane and it ain't a wealthy white Brit that's trying to illegally cross our borders. Forgive me; I'm a realist as well as a loyalist.
