No. The Palestinians and the Arabs get along well for the most part. Some Palestinians are Christian. Some are Muslim. They are originally thought to have been descended from Phoenicians. All I know is they were trading with the Arabs ' ancestors for many years so they have a history like I guess England and the US or more like US and France. The Israelites settled in the region from Mesopotamia and made treaties, warred with some and even intermarried to some extent.
According to the Hebrew scripture There was a kingdom under David and then Solomon and so on. Here's where it gets tricky. There hasn't been anything found (archaeologically), to support a kingdom of the size described in the Old Testament. But since the tribes have vowed to wipe each other off the map numerous times that isn't surprising to some. They could have done what King Tut's adversaries did and make it almost impossible to detect the kingdom ever existed. Just thought that was interesting.
