He had to get money from somewhere. His last run shut down due to lack of funds period. the Democrats (who I am not entirely against on some issues), get "nasty" money too.
As for him voting against wind fall profits tax on big oil, I am kind of afraid that might open the way for WFP tax on other things. I'm against taxing someone for being good at capitalism.
Alternative energy and opening oil reserves WHILE we HOTLY pursue that road are things I am in favor of.
I don't want to give another dime to a welfare whore, illegal immigrant, or drug addiction program. I know McCain's not the best bet in some of those categories, but he's the only one there is right now.
The Dems are further left than the Reps are too far right for my vote in the present tense.
