I was watching TV recently, when a face appeared for some juvenile sinign contest type show.

At first I thought it was someone who'd been in a terrible accident or who had a tragic wasting disease.

Then he sang a few words, and his mouth opened so wide that it appeared that he might swallow his own head.

He was identified as one "Steven Tyler."

Could someone tell me what happened to so disfigure this poor man?
