It's not hateful to point out the syncophancy of effusively praising the Dear Leader for taking an hour or 2 out his latest extravagant vacation to use a routine visit to the troops as a backdrop to a photo-op. There is nothing wrong with pointing out his third consecutive annual visit to the same Marine base was a trifling side-show to his primary objective, a Hawaiian vacation at taxpayer expense.

Yes, the Dear Leader did a good deed by visiting the troops but it is not as if opportunities weren't available far closer to home. This one just happened to fit in his vacation plans, as such it doesn't merit praise as some sort of extraordinary act.
