Default Re: Tea Party Rep. Refuses Congressional Health Plan

It's a miracle that a guy this dumb.........actually got elected.

He's basically saying that he doesn't want the same health insurance coverage............ that all other federal workers get.

Which, is right on par with most other large corporations......... not a "cushy plan."

In fact, many companies offer far better plans than is available through FEHB.

And if he had a brain, he would also realize that he has to become vested in FERS before he's entitled to a pension. And even then, it is based on the number of years worked and the amount of money made........EXACTLY LIKE all other federal workers.

Contrary to the rumors spread by the same idiots who talk about "death panels"............... elected officials do not get special deals on their health insurance or retirement pensions

Members of Congress receive retirement and health benefits under the same plans available to other federal employees. They become vested after five years of full participation.

I can't wait to see how he feels in a year from now, after he deals with......... "Walsh’s wife has a pre-existing medical condition, and she’ll now be charged with the difficult task of finding a plan on the open market."

He's not standing on any "principles" .......any more than someone who would refuse health insurance coverage from their company.

He's simply grandstanding.

I can't wait to see how that works out for him.

What an idiot.
