Default Re: Does Society Overprotect Children?

Come on guys I think anyone knows not all schools fill the discription of 50% drop out rate. And because of this one simple point (which I would have hoped anyone could understand, I now know I need to write a complete thought, thanks. But I also think faster than I type. Which is about 16 words a minute! Can you understand now?) When I went to school boys took shop and girls took typing.
But because of one simple point to pick on the entire post was lost to sooth this 30 year old ego!. I guess I need to just leave as at 62 I won't be going to night school to please this ash. Thanks fo rthe few friends I have made here. But if this so highly educated clow says I am not smart enough to pos there then I guess he is right a she knows so much! may each of you enjoy the day.

I think that is what mlurp is referring to, BUT he has confused the story completely. 50% is NOT the dropout rate throughout the U.S.!

Here is a link to a CNN story on the big city dropout rate. it also clarifies what the U.S. graduation rate is.

Report: Many big city graduation rates below 50% - CNN.com
