Eisenhower was a Dominionist. Anyone who believes that the government should be "under god" and function as an extension of faith is a Dominionist. I never stated that it was exclusive to a party.
I don't see the Under God as being a statement of the Government - it is this COUNTRY, which should be under God.

I also view the name "God" as the deity of choice, a name only, as who I view as being a deity I call a God is not the same as the next persons deity called God or similar name.
