Some? No doubt.
But they are vastly over-shadowed by the blatant anti-gay prejudice in the Republican party.
A party which forms explicit party planks to espouse that gays shouldn't be able to adopt.
To espouse that gays shouldn't be able to serve in the military.
To espouse that gays shouldn't have the capability to marry, or form civil unions.
Just out of curiousity cnredd, why did you single out the "Democratic party" when they are the ones who have been at the fore-front of fighting anti-gay bigotry, while the Republicans have supported it?

The war against al Qaeda in Afghanistan had virtually UNANIMOUS support.
Yet some try to misrepresent the situation into a false perception that "many members of the Democratic party" don't think terrorism exists.
Can you quote any Democratic elected Congress-person who doesn't think terrorism exists?
