Further reflection, tho', forces me to ask how they plan to ENFORCE this 'law'. It's one thing to PASS a law - it's quite another to ENFORCE it. Some laws - like litter laws - are unenforceable by nature. This is no different. The question then becomes: What's the REAL motive behind wanting this law passed? Will it be a PRIMARY or a SECONDARY offense? Remember, the seat belt law was originally a SECONDARY offense, which meant you had to be guilty of a PRIMARY offense first before you could be ticketed for not wearing your seat belt. Those days are gone. Now not clicking is a PRIMARY offense. So, I'm not about to start shouting YAY! from the rooftops just yet ... I want to know more about what OTHER motive is behind this - it's not 'public safety' ... maybe it's just 'cuz those caring 'government types' just 'know what's best' for us all the time.
