Not afraid...

I live in Philly so I don't interact with them, but on the couple occasions I have in the past, it was no big thing.

I think the key is not to put yourself in a situation where you're not aware of what can happen...Be relaxed and understand location, positioning, etc, and there shouldn't be any problems...
