Are they going to recommend companies that tell people NOT to buy a particular listing? Not likely. They will use the ones that go along with their program.

So do we require a completely neutral counseling service? Good idea in theory, but there is always the problem of kickbacks and such. Also, the extra steps are delaying the procedure therefore increasing the risk to the woman.

I'm not saying that it's impossible. Just pointing out the problems that would be faced.

Not to mention that virtually every adult that I know has a strong opinion on the subject.

I know that professionals are supposed to not let their personal opinion influence their counseling. But I cannot imagine a "pro-life" counselor doing that or even believing that is the right thing to do.

I think there are probably some "pro-choice" people who would have the same problem.

But I also cannot see the "pro-life" people ever accepting that any "pro-choice" counselor would be truly neutral.

As you say, it seems very problematic.
