I never bought the "It takes a village" slogan,it takes good parenting! My wife and I made financial sacrafices,I preferred that she not work until our kids graduated high school. She also believed that our kids needed a mother at home. Result..we have two grown children who have never once been arrested.They have never used drugs and they are both college graduates.

Unfortunatly,we never got that cottage we wanted or the 48 ft sailboat we dreamed about owning but we have two wonderful and highly successful kids and we would not trade that for anything..
