Well, there certainly is easy divorce in these modern times, that's true. (As an aside, divorce is certainly a much larger threat to the sanctity of marriage than gay marriage is. I mean, divorce ends marriages 100% of the time, whereas gay marriage ends marriages... well, I don't have a statistic, but I am sure it's less than that.)
And promiscuity, well, that has been around forever, it's just more openly practiced and discussed these days (these days being anything since the summer of love, with a bit of a -ahem- dropoff during the Reagan-Bush-Clinton years).
But discrediting the family as an institution? Who is doing that? Certainly, it can be said that promiscuity and divorce can break up families, but that doesn't discredit the institution of family. I can't think of any person, group, organization, or political entity who is against the concept of family.
I need a little help on this one. Anyone?
