Once the candidates are a lock, someone will ask McCain a question about race (or gender)...

And they'll pretend everything happening during the Democratic primaries never happened...

I would vote for Thatcher right now if she was a candidate...

I would be happy to vote for a QUALIFIED black person...Obama ain't it...

I want the eventual winner to be a good president...and if they're black or a woman, that's a bonus...

What I DON'T want is the eventual winner chosen BECAUSE they are black or woman, then crossing your fingers and hoping that being a good president is a bonus...
