I think there may be segments of government that would want that, but I don't consider that as the government as a whole...or even a majority...
If it wasn't for the tremendous amounts of "checks and balances" in our system it would have totally crashed long ago instead of slowly falling apart as the politicians corrupt it as fast as they can.
