I have in several threads said the great WWW is like the wild west. So far I have been lucky with this Vista 32 bit PC and my utilitys...

I have had 5 network attacks and one virus. Which my Kaspersky Internet Security Suite has stopped or helped me clean it from my PC.

So yes I am for it... It is about the economy, user security so it isn't a nanny state to me. With attacks coming from everywhere and ID Theft on the rise each year we need a better and secure Internet.

You can bet this is only smoke and mirrors. They dont have
any good intentions for us in any way. They force us to
give them a huge part of our income, they regulate every
thing from womb to tomb and all in between and allow
a foreign invasion from a border state to swarm us, break
us, close our ERs, destroy our language and weaken our
security. Add to that they tell us what bad words we can
use or not.

We are in deep ****!
I can relate... to both sides of this. I posted it thinking like you and others. Yet above I point out why I am for it.

If it is transparent in it's introduction. Where we know what changes are being made.
Right now if you go to ANY govt. site you get a cookie and are followed unless your like me and can remove it.

Yet with all the safety I or other have you can go to a safe site and with the links in most stories (if you get one to pop up) you can get what is called a drive by malware. Not all links but it only takes one.

We have to weigh the results of this to what it changes in this and other types of attacks.

Most users don't understand what Antivirus does or how to use it to find unsafe results from their scans. Much less keep it updated along with M$ security updates.

Or how to clean up the mess their PC turns out daily while running... So they go to on line sites to clean theur slowing down PC. STUPID.... Never do this as you give up complete access to your HD. Very STUPID..

And lastly just what are we to do but let it happen. Obama doesn't like to be told NO.
