Your attention to this has been fantastic redd. As for more tweeking...I like the slower working of The Wrinkler. Makes for keeping track of the stories much easier. However, It seems in the last two days the handful of stories being posted just haven't seemed all that interesting; at least not to me. I guess my point is that I don't if you can set what types of stories The Wrinkler looks for or what sources but in a forum titled "Political Wrinkles" I think most of us would be interested in political stories; domestic & foriegn. Even...get this...you're not going to believe it...speeding The Wrinker up again. Not at the former speed but you went from every 30 minutes to every 6 hours. That's a huge difference. Again, I don't know what parameters you have to choose from...Maybe once an hour --- every 3 hours...?...
When you open up The Wrnkler News section you don't want to see multiple pages of stories. Lately it's been about 5 or 6 stories while originally it was sometimes 3 or 4 pages worth. A single page (20 posts) is about the max I'm guessing most of us really want to see. Of course if we're not here for a while we understand that's on us. But, for those of us who are here regularly (likely multiple times a day) 10 to 15 post upon a given visit seems reasonable.
I THINK what you're saying is "Find a news outlet feed that specifically shows stories related directy to political topics...These stories will be more indepth and would probably increase participation."...Whether or not that what you were getting at, I think that's still a good idea..I'll do some sniffing around...
