It's not enforced heavily.
We as a country, are about to get lock down notices if we keep ignoring warning probably. If it gets really bad again
Avoid that by:
wearing a mask
social distancing
getting vaccinated.
You didn't personally experience a lockdown and thereby, according to your logic, they didn't happen. That's good to know.
